In other words, the difference and the relationships between botulinum toxin, known as Botox, and the MIVEL endoscopic facelift.
First and foremost, it should be noted that the botulinum toxin has an effect on the muscles. To achieve a slight lift, contraction and relaxation zones are balanced accordingly, ensuing in a well-balanced state eyebrow in the region where the frontal muscle operates. Therefore, we can experience an enhancement, a widening of our viewpoint, a diminishment of glabellar lines, and a softening of other wrinkles, the so-called crow’s feet due to relaxation of the orbicularis muscle.

In contrast, our approach to an endoscopic lift differs. This surgical procedure involves a different method altogether. By detaching the muscles and relocating them, we are able to alter the eye’s shape, granting us the ability to shape the eye according to our desires. The form of the eyebrow and the lift of the zygomatic malar region, as well as the angle of the mandible, play a significant role in the appearance. We are engaged in completely different activities; the two of us.

However, I believe it is important to administer the toxin in the post-operative phase of endoscopic lifting. The muscle is detached and repositioned during endoscopy to justify why I detach the muscle and reposition it in a new location, as mentioned earlier. Well, it’s important that for the first two or three months, the muscle rests so it can adhere to the new position.

So, BOTOX is not an alternative, but rather an ally of endoscopic lifting. These are two completely different processes, so remember that. However, they primarily integrate during the post-operative period and in the upkeep of the MIVEL, which stands for Minimal Incision Vertical Endoscopic Lifting.

https://www.gennaichirurgia.it/en/endoscopic-lifting-face-mivel/

I would like to share with you the answer to a question that I often receive from patients, which I find quite interesting.
