Eye Surgery for Men: Eyebrow Lift and Blepharoplasty

As the topic of our discussion relates to eye surgery in males, it is evident that the technique employed to improve their gaze differs considerably from that employed in females.

In this particular case, there is a noticeable heaviness present in the eyebrow area as well as a significant amount of skin on the upper eyelid. To address this issue, a direct technique known as a direct eyebrow lift is employed alongside a blepharoplasty. It is worth mentioning that in male patients, the preference leans towards the direct approach rather than the endoscopic lift, which is more commonly used in women. When dealing with men, it is crucial to avoid altering the shape of the eye or inducing any feminization, instead focusing solely on lifting the eyebrow slightly to alleviate the heaviness. Consequently, the approach for men differs; additionally, considering that many men experience thinning hair, any endoscopic scars would become apparent. Therefore, in male patients, the approach is direct, encompassing eyebrow lifting and blepharoplasty procedures, which can be conveniently performed on an outpatient basis. These procedures are carried out using local anesthesia and involve remarkably swift recovery times.
