Today, our focus will be on the crucial upper third of the face, specifically the eye area. The gaze plays a fundamental role in human interaction, and that’s why this region is so important. Within the upper face, there is one technique that stands above the rest: the MIVEL technique. I had the honor of publishing and standardizing it in 2015 with the release of my book. So, what exactly does this endoscopic technique offer for the upper third of the face? By using endoscopy with small hairline incisions, we can reposition and lift the tissues without leaving noticeable scars. It goes beyond mere surface treatment and allows for deep tissue repositioning without stretching the skin. This approach offers a remarkable solution for rejuvenating the upper face, providing natural-looking results while minimizing the impact on the skin’s appearance.
This method can be used to counter the signs of aging, as well as to enhance the appearance of long and desirable-looking eyes, often referred to as the “Foxy Eye” technique. Of course, in conjunction with this technique, there are additional therapies that I favor, such as the SEFFILLER regenerative therapy, and occasionally upper and lower blepharoplasty procedures.
