Today, I am going to talk to you about one of the surgeries that I love the most, as you know, which is endoscopic surgery. But does endoscopic surgery really work? How exactly does it function?
Well, I really enjoy explaining this to people, to my patients.
Unfortunately, in some posts, I have seen a colleague who doesn’t even understand how it actually works.
Well then, for my colleague, I recommend reading the scientific papers, the books that I have published, and the MIVEL technique that I have also published, so that he can understand how it actually works.
So, for colleagues, sometimes it’s a matter of ignorance, in the sense of ignoring the articles and the publications that have been written.
As for people who are not in the field, it’s right to explain it.
First of all, endoscopy is simply a surgical method that allows, thanks to the evolution of ever-new technologies, ever-thinner cameras, to perform operations through small incisions, to perform those operations that used to be done with large incisions.
But this is not only for cosmetic surgery obviously and this, by the way, I also remind the colleague who doesn’t understand how it works.
Do you recall how many years ago, to remove the gallbladder, they made a very long incision? Today, almost all cholecystectomies are done endoscopically, and very often appendectomies as well, as well as many other surgeries that can now be performed with endoscopic technology.
So, the endoscopic technique allows for performing major surgeries through small incisions, and this is the fundamental concept of endoscopy.
Specifically, in facial endoscopy, the small incisions are made within the hairline, hidden among the hair. From this point, using cameras that are just a few millimeters in size, we proceed inside, and with specialized instruments designed specifically for endoscopy, we create that dissection, that is, the separation of tissues, which was previously done with large incisions, offering two advantages.
The first is that the operating surgeon can see the anatomical structures much larger through endoscopy, ensuring maximum safety and precision, and thus these separations are made, allowing for the repositioning of tissues in an accurate manner.
So, this is why endoscopic surgery works effectively, thanks to advanced endoscopic technology.
So to my patients and those not in the medical field, I advise you to follow my posts, come by and I will explain in great detail what endoscopy truly is.
For colleagues a bit ignorant on the topic, I suggest reading my books and articles published worldwide on the endoscopic technique for facial rejuvenation.
