The other day, I was talking to friends and I was asked, do men do liposculpture? Yes, of course! Men do liposculpture mainly for what problems? For the breasts, for example, with the passing of the years or in people who are a little overweight, there may be a little bit of large breasts. Or a little bit of adipose tissue can accumulate in the abdomen, or in the hips, the so-called love handles. These are the classic areas where men perform liposculpture or liposuction, as we want to call it. First of all, let’s say that liposuction cannot remove visceral fat, therefore what is inside the abdomen. For this reason, remember that in both men and women, liposculpture can only work on the adipose tissue that is above the muscle. In men, as I said, above all the modeling of the chest is done by taking away the adipomastia, or the accumulations of adipose tissue in the breasts, abdomen and hips, in the so-called love handles. The surgery can usually be performed in a day hospital, under local anesthesia with a little sedation, an elasticated tank top for a fortnight and that’s it.
